We depart the Crowne Plaza Hotel and journey through the farming communities of Warkworth and Wellsford. Continue to the Bay of Islands and on arrival we visit the Waitangi Treaty House. Two Night Stay: Bay of Islands, Waitangi Resort		Leaving the City of Sails we travel south to Waitomo Caves. Journey to the geothermal region of Rotorua. Tonight enjoy a Hangi (feast) and cultural performance. Two Night Stay: Rotorua, Millennium Rotorua

This morning our catamaran cruise takes us on a journey to Cape Brett and the famous Hole in the Rock. Return to Paihia where our coach departs for Auckland. Stay: Auckland, Crowne Plaza Hotel		Today we follow the Thermal Explorer Highway to the heart of the North Island. Continue to Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand. Passengers wishing to return to Auckland by express coach may do so at no extra cost.

This morning we journey across the Auckland Harbour Bridge travelling through the farming communities of Warkworth and Wellsford. Visit the Matakohe Pioneer Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of Kauri gum. Continue to the majestic Waipoua Kauri Forest Reserve where we view the giant Kauri tree, Tane Mahuta, ‘Lord of the Forest’. View the magnificent Hokianga Harbour before travelling to the sub-tropical Bay of Islands National Maritime Park, a beautiful unspoilt paradise, rich in history and culture. Two Night Stay: Bay of Islands, Waitangi Resort		This morning our Bay of Islands cruise takes us to Cape Brett and the famous Hole in the Rock. Meander through the inner islands, viewing sandy beaches and rocky outcrops. Return this afternoon to Auckland. Your tour concludes on arrival and a departure transfer is included.

Day 2 - Bay of Islands (BD)

Today you have the opportunity to choose the sightseeing activity which most interests you and we will include it. Whether it be a day trip to the very top of New Zealand, a tour of the first capital town, sailing on a unique schooner, swimming with the dolphins, an arts and crafts tour in Kerikeri or simply relaxing on a beautiful golden sandy beach, the choice is yours.
