Fixed Itinerary Coach Pass Conditions
- are valid for 12 months from the date of first travel booking
- are valid only in the region(s) covered by that pass
- do not allow backtracking except on the Milford Sound and Bay of Islands services
- are only available on InterCity and Newmans Coachlines services and not on private operator services
- are not transferable and cannot be extended
- are non-refundable once purchased
- prices are subject to change at anytime and are listed in New Zealand dollars
- purchase of a coach pass does not assure you a seat – you need to make seat reservations for all your coach travel.
General Terms and Conditions of InterCity InterCity Group (NZ) Ltd, the operators of InterCity Coachlines, reserves the right to alter prices and timetables and to arrange alternative transport, routes or sightseeing services without notice.
InterCity Group (NZ) Ltd products are sold subject to the conditions of the Carriage of Goods Act 1979, the terms and conditions published by the carrier and conditions printed on the ticket.
InterCity Group (NZ) Ltd and its agents are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the purchase or use of its products or services or the purchase or use of any third party’s products or services.
Purchase Your Pass You can purchase your pass directly from us. Your booking is considered to be confirmed and accepted in respect of all persons travelling when we issue a confirmation to you.
All correspondence will be sent to the address of the first person on the booking file unless you tell us otherwise.
Upon receipt of full payment we will issue your Coach Pass documentation. These will despatched to you prior to your departure or will be sent to your first night's accommodation awaiting your arrival in New Zealand.
Travel Reservations Your travel reservations can either be pre-booked or you can book-as-you-go.

| Reservations can be made whilst in New Zealand via the South Pacific Travellers’ World Reservations Centre. Reservations centre is open 7.00am – 7.00pm Monday - Friday and 9.00am - 5.00pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays |

| Cancellations must be made via this tollfree phone during business hours. Failure to cancel a reservation by this deadline will result in forfeiture of the appropriate travel sector. |

| Your Coach Pass is valid for 12 months from first day of travel. |
Timetable Changes Published services may be changed at any time. Note: Should you make a reservation and the timetable change after confirmation you will be contacted provided a New Zealand phone number has been entered. Otherwise it is advisable to check the timetable again 48 hours prior to departure.
Refreshment and Comfort Stops All services have regular, scheduled comfort and refreshment stops. Night services may travel longer distances between stops.
Smoking Under the provisions of the Smoke Free Environment Act (1990), coach services are required to be smoke-free, including on-board rest room where provided. Regular stops are made for passengers' comfort.
Luggage Limits on Newmans/Intercity Coaches Two pieces (max 25kg each) per person. Extra luggage, where space is available, NZD10.00 per item. Please label luggage to your final destination each day. For safety reasons each person is limited to one item (5kg) of Carry On luggage.
