| This morning drive over the Crown Range to Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown. If you feel like a round then we suggest the Arrowtown Golf Club which is en route. The rocky outcrops will challenge your score card! Destination is the resort village of Queenstown. |

| Depart Queenstown via the rugged Kawarau Gorge. Cross the Lindis Pass into the vast landscape of the McKenzie basin, with it’s azure blue alpine lakes of Pukaki and Tekapo. Look for magnificent views of Mount Cook from Lake Pukaki. |

| Drive north through the North Canterbury vineyards to the rugged Kaikoura Coast. Look out for fur seals sunning themselves on the rocks. The next 2 nights are at Nelson, renowned for its beaches, high sunshine hours, wine and arts and crafts. What a magic combination! |

| Take the scenic Queen Charlotte Drive route to Picton, skirting the Marlborough Sounds for much of the way. At Picton drop off your rental car at the ferry terminal, then board your ferry for the 3 hour crossing to Wellington, New Zealand’s Capital City. Pick up your next rental car on arrival. |
